Our family spent a couple days at Silver Springs! It is an old fashion amusement park! This is a picture of us on the glass bottom boat. As you can tell James was so excited to get to ride! That was all he could talk about on the drive to Ocala!Carousel Fun!

James' graduation was so much fun to attend! I have never seen a pre-K graduation that was so much like a High School one. They did a great job making the kids feel important. James' job was to recite a bible verse into the microphone. He was AWESOME!

As we prepared to leave Florida we tried to spend as much time with the wonderful people who have been our family for the last 3 years!

Before leaving Florida, the precious people of PVBC sent our family to Disney World! Beau and the boys had never seen the Magic Kingdom! We had the most amazing time!

James and I just couldn't wait to see the Castle!!

The first character we met was Snow White. She was so cute and was so true to her character! She liked meeting our Prince Charming!

James and Gary have really been into Toy Story! This was the Buzz Light Year ride. Everything was glow in the dark and the object of the ride was to shoot your laser to defeat Zorg!

After the ride we met Buzz! The boys were so excited!

My boys got me a new camera for Mother's Day! That may be one reason it has taken me so long to post these new blogs. I love it though and here are some of the pics I took the first days!

Our Trip to TEXAS

The boys and I had such a good time in Texas! We caught up with family. James and Gary were excited to be reunited with their cousins.

Their newest cousin Liam was full of sweet smiles. James kept saying while we were there. "Liam likes me!"

Here is James giving one of his many hugs to little Liam.

A special treat for J and G was getting to go to Chuck E. Cheese with their Nanna, Pawpaw, Uncle Matt and Aunt Kaycee, and Uncle Tim. They had such a good time.

We were so blessed to get to be with Granny while we were there! She was so sweet to the boys! Granny thank you for coming we loved getting to be around you!

One of the special outing we went on while in Texas was the Arboretum!

Oma and Pops gave the boys a new Pottery Barn table for Christmas. They have loved the table and have enjoyed eating, coloring, and playing games on the table.

BUT, I think they have enjoyed the box just as much!

Our Christmas Memories

Lake Butler Christmas Parade

Our kids loved seeing the floats, lights, and candy go by! This was our first year to experience the parade. It will have to be one of our new Bevers Christmas Traditions.

This is our darling babysitter, Victoria. She is such a God send with family being so far away. Our kids love her! This was her Christmas gift to James. He was so excited!

This year James and I started a children's choir at our church! We put on a Christmas play about toys who come to life and teach a little girl the true meaning of Christmas. James was a puppy dog. He did such a good job and was sooooo entertaining.

Gary was fun to watch this year. His face would light up with each new experience. He loved the lights on the tree!

Every year the boys get cutie Christmas Pajamas from Oma and Pops. It is a fun Christmas Eve tradition. I think I love it more than the kids!

Fall Trip to Texas

So far our trip to Texas has been awesome! James and Gary were blessed to spend some time with Granny. We also saw, as James calls them, "his new cousins", really his second cousins. He had so much fun playing football, shooting the bow and arrows, and swimming in the pool with them. Hayden, Griffin, and Cooper, thank you for making our James feel so special.

We were excited to spend a little time at Cedar Creek Lake with the family. What a beautiful and fun place to spend the weekend. There was so much to do and see! James had a hard time picking his favorite! Here are some pictures on the boat.

What's Been Going On?

It's been a long time and for that I apologize. Beau's office, where I go to get on line has been under some construction. Our summer has been full of some serious fun and excitement. We made a trip to Texas and loved seeing all the family and as many friends as possible. The pool has been our favorite spot to cool off in the Florida heat. We have visited the Rays, made a quick trip to the beach, gone to the zoo, and learned what it means to go scalloping. It has been fun and it's not even August yet! Here are some pictures of what the Bevers have been up to

James turned 3 May 6th!

He had been counting down the days to his birthday for months. He had a tee ball party with all of his sweet church friends. It was a great time for everyone!

We scoped out every ballpark in the area and he picked this one because it had a dugout. Or a "time out" as James calls it.

The kiddos took turns hitting the ball of the tee while the dads fielded the balls. It think the dads had as much fun, if not more fun, than the kids!

For his birthday James got a swimming pool and lots of fun pool toys! He has been loving all the water time!

We can't believe how time is flying! Gary is 3 months old and a complete joy! James is learning so fast and growing to be a little man. We are still absolutely in love with the church the Lord has blessed us with. Getting to know these people has been incredable! We feel more and more at home each day. We are still pinching ourselves with the direction God has chosen for our little family! Thank you for all your prayers! They are felt and appreciated! We serve an awesome GOD!

One Month

Wow! What fun to have two boys in our house. Gary is growing so fast and James is a wonderful big brother. We have had lots of company. Aunt Jenny, Aunt Nicole, and Ella just left us this Sunday. We were so thankful they were able to come. We are all looking forward to being together for Christmas this year!! Here are some of the most recent pictures.

Gary is here, and we are all thrilled to finally meet him! He has already been a litttle blessing! James is learning all about being a big brother. He is doing an excellent job! Gary was born on the 29th of October at 2:01 AM. He was 20.5 inches and weighed 8lbs 14oz. We were fortunate to have a quick and easy delivery. Here are some pictures we would love to share with you!

We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of Gary Edward Bevers. The last doctor estimated that he would come this weekend, but I went today, and she said maybe next week. Beau and I are still hoping that tonight or tomorrow will be the time of arrival. We are as ready as we will get, I suppose! James is excited to be a big brother and we are anxious to see how he does with a new little one around. We are anticipating lots of wonderful family coming into town. Many have not seen our new home or met the wonderful people who make up Providence Village Baptist Church.

Hello Friends! We are so sorry it has been so long since we have updated this blog! We made the transition to Florida and are loving all that we have experienced so far. We do not have highspeed internet so it is difficult to add new and exciting pictures, but we will try and get them to you as soon as we can. Here are some to get started.

It's Official!!

As of this morning, Beau is the pastor of Providence Village Baptist Church! We are thrilled to be part of this warm and loving family of believers! Beau, James, and I flew to Florida on Thursday and have been enjoying meeting the members and exploring the area. We took James to see The Florida Gator Swamp as they proudly call it (James calls it the football house). He and Daddy walked down next to the field. His eyes were so big and excited. We have also been shaking hands and hugging necks. They have all welcomed us with such loving arms and have shown real excitement for what the Lord has in store for the future of the church! Thank you for your prayers and please continue to pray for our little family as we make the BIG move to Northern Florida!!

Beach Fun!

This past weekend James and I went with Aunt Jenny, Oma, and Pops to visit Granny and the Hammond side of the family @ Crystal Beach. We had a great time. James still wasn't sure about the ocean, but he liked building sand castles with his Aunt and cousin Madeline. He also experienced the slip-n-slide for the first time.

For those of you who have been praying for Granny, she is doing great. I am so proud of all of her hard work and effort. She is a strong woman and anxious to be feeling like her old self again. James and I loved getting to see her!

Big News

As many of you know, we went to Florida about a month ago to meet with a church. We had a great time and really connected with the committee that we met. The position is for Pastor of Providence Village Baptist Church.
They called on Wednesday to let us know that Beau has been called as Senior Pastor. We will be going in view of a call on July 26th. We are excited to see the people again and to meet more of the congregation. Please be praying for us that we will follow the Lord's will in every area of our lives.

Beau, James and I have BIG NEW!! We are excited to announce that we are expecting baby number 2 in November! James helped us spread the news to his grandparents, so now we can shout it from the mountain tops! James will be a great big brother! He will be exactly two and a half. It will be a fun time!
